Qatar and Vueling join forces to operate to Croatia

Qatar Airways has recently announced plans to code share with Vueling, the Spanish airline carrier on 67 routes, some of which are in Croatia.

The Qatari carrier, which owns a 20 percent share of International Airlines Group (IAG), will add its flight numbers and designator code onto services from both Barcelona and Rome to Dubrovnik and Split operated by the group's low cost carrier from Spain. In the upcoming winter season Vueling, which has previously operated only seasonal flights to Croatia, will maintain flights from Rome to Dubrovnik. On the other hand, Qatar Airways will continue to maintain ten weekly flights from Doha to Zagreb.

The new code share agreement, which builds upon the interline agreement signed between the two carriers in October 2014, is already effective and bookings can be made via Qatar Airways.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: “Our new code share agreement with Vueling Airlines will allow even greater opportunities for passengers across Europe to connect to the global Qatar Airways network''.

 „WTF Dubrovnik“ – Amazing venue festival

 

Unlike many foreign organisations „WTF Dubrovnik“ Festival is 100% local production, it is held in Dubrovnik and organizers believe that this event will become popular and recognized as others world renowned electronic dance music festivals organized along the Croatian cost.

3-day audio visual festival „WTF Dubrovnik“ is the first open air festival in Dubrovnik, and was held from August 5th to August 8th at three different locations. First festival night was held in front of the Fort Imperial at the top of Srđ mountain above the old city. Fort Imperial and its surroundings became exclusive summer stage for the first time. For this occasion world famous Kevin Yost and local support by Audiometric b2b Torres, Djivo aka dBA and Flora & Lija were performing.

Second festival night was held at Club „Lazareti“ and „Komarda“ beach with the acts of local DJs Zookey, Petra and Maroje and regional DJs Pion, Jakša Pavičević and Wecky & Jux.

Third and final festival night was held at a boat cruise party with Jamie Anderson, Bronski & Herya, Klabika Collective and local support by Denis T, Benx and Funk You.

„WTF Dubrovnik“ Festival is organized by NGO „Kazin“, which tends to promote all aspects and forms of urban culture.
